| Hello and welcome to Liberal Arts Math II. When you
click one of the various buttons on the left, you will find web versions of
the handouts I provide in class. If you should ever lose one the
pages I have given, you can always print yourself out another copy
from here.
This course consists
of the following topics: ancient numeration systems, other base systems,
financial mathematics including interest calculations, automobile
financing, amortization, etc., graph theory, number theory, history of
mathematics, and algebra applications. This course meets the A.A. general education
Category III.
Please note: MGF1106 and MGF1107 are not sequential
courses. Either one may be taken first without loss of continuity or
comprehension.
