Hello and welcome to Liberal Arts Math I.  When you click one of the various buttons on the left, you will find web versions of all handouts necessary for class.  If you should ever lose one the pages, you can always print yourself out another copy from here.

This course consists of the following topics: set theory, symbolic logic, introductory combinatorics, probability, descriptive statistics, number theory, linear programming and geometries with applications, history of mathematics, and algebra applications. This course meets the A.A. general education Category III.

Remember, all homework will be done via MyMathLab.  Make sure you have your Access Code and know the location of the nearest computer lab (if you don't have access at home or work) to complete your assignments within the assigned window.  Don't forget, the Mid Term & Final Exams are both pencil & paper proctored exams. Out of Town Students - you must go to a physical testing site; ProctorU and other such 'on-line' proctoring agencies are NOT acceptable. See the link below for guidelines (this same link is on the homepage).

Please note: MGF1106 and MGF1107 are not sequential courses.  Either one may be taken first without loss of continuity or comprehension.

Once again, if you need to contact me, my e-mail is mpetruska@pensacolastate.edu and my phone is 850.484.1109 (remember, I forget to check the phone but I check email throughout the day)
